We are accepting nominations for the 2011 Alumni of the Year! Each year, two alumni are chosen for the Alumni of the Year Awards, which are presented at the annual commencement ceremony. One alumnus/a is selected from the New York campuses and one alumnus/a is selected from the New Jersey campuses. Each year, a panel of alumni are put together to send to the President of the College for final selection.

Definition
Alumnus/a: A graduate of Berkeley College.
Alumni of the Year: An award given every year to two alumni that have distinguished themselves in their professional and personal lives.
Selection Criteria:
The following criteria will be used as guides to select those alumni who deserve the recognition by the school at the annual commencement ceremony.
- Professional Success: Those alumni who have grown in their professional lives as shown by their success, commitment and dedication to the company or organization with which they have been affiliated, as well their demonstrated commitment to life long learning.
- Community Involvement Those alumni who have distinguished themselves and Berkeley College by becoming active in local, regional, or national activities that serve to strengthen their communities.
- Interaction with the Berkeley College community after graduation. Preferably includes but is not limited to: serving as a guest lecturer for various venues, active within the Alumni Association, identifying job opportunities for current students, serving as a mentor to students, and providing, either personally or through their professional organizations, financial assistance to students.
